I’m Baacckkkk! Sorry, I have been away for so long. Life has been all kinds of crazy. I have missed y’all!
So I want to talk about…Date Night.
My favorite nights of the month. Life gets hectic sometimes, for Ruben and myself we both have busy days. By the time we actually see each other we are both exhausted and have no energy to do anything. Between work, and our 2 boys the days just seem to all blur into one super fast week after week. Which is exactly why I LOVE date night. It doesn’t happen all the time, we set aside 1 to 2 days a month max to go out by ourselves and just completely enjoy immersing ourselves into one anothers company. We plan our date nights out weeks in advance, we don’t want any surprises so this definitely helps make sure the babysitter is on board 100%, it also gives us something to look forward to and be excited about. The fact that we only do 1 to 2 nights a month makes them even more special.
For me, personally, we don’t get to go out too much by ourselves, after our boys everything we do has become a family event, which we absolutely love, so when we do have our date nights I 1000% get as dolled up and as fresh as I can get. I spend a good 2 to 3 hours on my hair, makeup, outfits, and all the extra things like nails, shaving, etc... I make damn sure I look hot as hell. I want his jaw to drop when he sees me!!
One of my all time favorite go to looks for date nights is the classic smokey eye. It’s sexy, sophisticated, and even makes your eyes POP! I love a good black smokey eye with either a bold or nude lip which I did both down below. It will 100% work with both. You can really use any eyeshadow palette you have as long as it has a good brown and black shadow in it. I personally for this look used the Jaclyn Hill Volume I palette for my eyes, and everything else was Colourpop. For those who do not know I am OBSESSED with Colourpop! I do love other products as well, Morphe, Huda, ELF, etc., but Colourpop is my ride or die y’all! I will link the products that I remember down below.
This look is so easily achievable and so gorgeous when complete. I guarantee it will make your man drool over you all night! Shoot, and every other man out there too!
Remember though, whether you go all out on your makeup, and outfits or you just go natural and relaxed you are beautiful no matter what and trust me your man knows that as well.
